1. What does this privacy policy cover?
This privacy policy is to inform you regarding the use of your personal data which is processed, including but not limited to collected and used, under the Orchid program.
2. Who is responsible for the personal data processed?
Your personal data processed under the Orchid program is controlled ultimately by us / HemoCue AB.
3. Purposes of the procession, including collection and use, of your personal data
We collect and use your patient data collected in the mobile application under the Orchid program, e.g. patient ID, Hb result, location, sex, and age. The data are used for trend analysis within the Orchid program. All transfer of such data is done in encrypted format. Individual patient data is never exposed or accessible and a consent form shall be presented and signed prior any collection of patient
data. Patient data is transferred and stored in a Cloud Service outside India and only accessible by authorized users. Data collected will be used for trend analysis only.
Insofar as you have provided your consent or when we are otherwise legally entitled to do so, we will share your personal data with authorized users, where applicable, for the purposes stated in this policy.
In addition to the above, we collect personal data (e.g., names, addresses, e-mail addresses) in connection with the operation of our websites only when you have voluntarily provided such data to us (e.g., through registration) and when we are entitled to process or use such data by virtue of permission granted by you or on the basis of a statutory provision. As a general rule in this regard, we use such data only for the purpose for which you divulged the data to us, such as grant you access to certain information and download of mobile application.
